Please join us in saying thanks!

Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines have all given their time, and often their lives, to protect our freedoms. They answered the call when our Nation needed them most. And now they deserve our honor and respect. We invite you to take this opportunity to say thanks and show your appreciation by participating in this patriotic event.

Since 1981, volunteers from veteran groups, active duty Military and civic minded community members have been staging a Veterans Day Parade in Atlanta. We invite you to join us. The 2015 Veterans Day Parade will be on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 11:11 am in downtown Atlanta. The Parade Reviewing stand is by the World of Coca Cola on Baker Street. Check back here for additional news and information.

13 June 2015 - While in Washington, DC, GVDPAA President placed one of our 2015 Commander's Challenge Coins at the Vietnam Veteran Memorial.  On behalf of the entire association, it was placed to remember those that had fallen during the Vietnam War.  Most importantly, it was left as a reminder to all of the families left behind and those who visit The Wall that we have not forgotten the sacrifices of our Vietnam Veterans.

The Wall That Heals will be at Pemberton Place beside The World of Coca-Cola from 05 - 08 November 2015.  We are thankful to the World of Coca-Cola and the Military Order of the Purple Heart Service Foundation for their support that will enable us to present this wonderful memorial to those we lost in the Vietnam War.
