For over 25 years, we have been staging a Veterans Day Parade on November 11, in Atlanta. A little over ten years ago we began holding a banquet or a ball on the evening of Veteran's Day. This gives all of us an opportunity to dress up, including our lovely ladies, and listen to a great speaker and enjoy the fellowship of fellow veterans. We have a great band for dancing and try to keep the formal presentations short so you can enjoy a fun evening.

The committee that puts on the parade is composed of volunteers from veterans groups, active duty military, and civic minded members of the community. We meet on the third Wednesday of every month at 7:00 pm - any member of the committee can give you directions. If you would like to help, please call one of us.

If you or your organizations would like to be in the Parade, copies of the necessary forms can be printed out from this website. Complete and mail them to the address provided.

Who is in the Parade? US Army Forces Command Honor Guard and Band leads the parade. They are followed by the Grand Marshal, and distinguished guests including state commanders of the Veterans Groups. Veterans Groups are generally next followed by the Air Force Band of the South, military units, ROTC units, bands, and colorful assortment of patriotic units. We have included pictures of some of the past parades on this website. Please come and join us for this great celebration for all veterans.

WE HOPE WE CAN COUNT ON YOUR SUPPORT!
